From this day, November 18, 1928 was the day that Steamboat Willie came out, the cartoon that sparked the breakthrough of animation being the first ever cartoon with synchronized sound! It also made the icon of Disney Productions rise to fame!

So today, Mickey Mouse has turned 81 years old! tell everyone you know about the newz!

In Other News:

We had another animation conference today. I didn't have any animation to show today, but I did show the animator my drawings of my cheetah. When he saw them, he thought they were beautiful. One of the guys that was with him asked me if I studied animals while I showed my character. He also loved that the fact that this is a carnivorous predator and I made her into a cute and fluffy character. I even heard one of them say, "Yeah, she's with us already!" and I just brightened! Seriously, that was a good compliment from a professional Pixar animator. By the way his name's Randy Nelson. I have goosebumps!
